Royal Gunpowder Mills
The Royal Gunpowder Mills in Waltham Abbey is an important heritage site with a remarkable true story. The charity which runs the attraction is committed to conserving and sharing the fascinating 300 year history with future generations. Set in 170 acres of Alder woodland this very secret location has been involved in the production and development of explosives and rocket propellants for over 300 years. Open to the public and schools, RGM helps pave the knowledge of British history.
What we did
RGM called Mulberry in to help enhance the online presence and overall brand awareness, generating income to help the charity run the attraction.
Starting with some spectacular new photography showcasing RGMs beautiful grounds and explosive science experiments, we followed through with a May and Summer Campaign targeting ‘enthusiasts’ and families. This meant a retargeting campaign full of online banners via certain media channels and a strong Facebook campaign. To capture visitors contact details a special postcard was created to entice enthusiasts to sign up to the mailing list with the temptation of free tickets.
