  1. App development – Mulberry’s digital creative wizardry works wonders for Altro

Comments Off on App development – Mulberry’s digital creative wizardry works wonders for Altro

Meet Al – Mulberry’s dynamic character – who takes Altro’s App users on walk through the health and safety issues Altro flooring can help customers avoid.

Mulberry and Altro have worked together for many years, but this is the first project where we’ve been involved with creating an APP for them.

The App is designed to be used by Altro’s UK and European sales force, when they talk to potential customers in the healthcare and education sectors.

The App highlights the dangerous slips and trips areas found in hospitals and care homes by taking the user on a walk around various ‘rooms’. The dangers are supported with facts and figures on accident occurrences and subsequently the user is shown the specification requirements for flooring to best avoid them.

If you’d like us to work with you to design and build an app please feel free to get in touch.

Altro is a fantastic company based and owned in the UK and a leading manufacturer of safety flooring. You can find out more about them on their website.

When Baddy Paris and Rufus were asked to be best men at their brother Robin’s wedding, they came up with a decidedly unusual take on the traditional speech. Clad in metallic onezies and wearing make-up last seen on Adam Ant – the pair delivered their musical message of love to their brother. The rather amusing video has since been posted on youtube and received more than a million views. Read the whole story here…

    £240,000 unique house

A very modern home designed around nature

We couldn’t help but be impressed by this beautifully designed home of glass, incorporating a 40ft living tree. Architect Aibek Almasov spent five months constructing the home.

“The project aims to offer an alternative to bustling city life and stifling urban structures by fusing a protective house and a natural environment without creating a visual separation.” he said.

Bus stop dances lands stage role

Ellie Cole dances her way to stage role

When Ellie Cole was waiting for her bus to arrive and decided she’d while away the time with a little boogie, little did she know she was being secretly filmed! The film then went viral under the heading ‘Eastleigh’s got talent‘.

Director Lynne Paris spotted the clip and realised Ellie would be perfect for a role in her new musical AH Men.

“When I saw the video at the bus stop I saw an authenticity in Ellie that I knew I could work with to develop her,” she said.

“I was staging AH Men in Eastleigh, I noticed Ellie lived in Eastleigh, too… I tracked her down through Facebook and invited her to the final rehearsal and did some real time coaching with her that paid off. She was great and gelled with the rest of the AH Men cast straight away.”

  5. Stephen Merchant shines on late night with Jimmy Fallon

Comments Off on Stephen Merchant shines on late night with Jimmy Fallon

Stephen Merchant is the lip sync king and displays his incredible skills in this entertaining section on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. It’s worth watching the whole battle because Joseph Gordon Levitt gives Stephen a serious run for his money (although Jimmy is just not quite up to the mark).

I think it’s Stephen’s Cleese-esque proportions that truly make this hilarious – along with his choice of song – Boom! Shake the room, by Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.
